Kumpulan Darul Ehsan Bhd (KDEB)'s property arm, Kumpulan Hartanah Selangor Bhd (KHSB), aims to hit a positive growth this year as it ventures into a prime commercial project in Petaling Jaya.

According to Raja Idris Raja Kamaruddin, Chairman of KHSB, joint development plans for the 3.84ha parcel of land located at the heart of Section 14, Petaling Jaya are now being settled.

"The development of shop offices, small-office-home-office (SOHO), office tower and service apartments will begin by year-end and contribute close to RM1 billion in gross development value (GDV) over seven years," he said.

"This will build a strong foundation for the company's continuous growth."

Raja Idris noted that they have received a number of proposals for the 2,000ha commercial development in Bestari Jaya (Batang Berjuntai) in Selangor.
